AquaWax is a high-quality, water-based wood stain designed to enhance and protect natural wood surfaces. Suitable for both professional and DIY use, it delivers a rich, even finish that brings out the natural beauty of the grain while providing long-lasting durability. Available in over 30 colours, AquaWax offers a wide range of shades to suit every style and project. It can be overcoated with polycarbonate (PC), acrylic (AC), polyurethane (PU), and water-based products, offering excellent versatility for a variety of finishing systems.

Application is simple and flexible. AquaWax can be applied using a clean cloth, brush, sponge, or spray. Before application, sand the bare wood with 180-grit sandpaper to achieve a smooth, clean surface. Apply one coat of AquaWax at a rate of 30–60 g per square meter, rubbing well into the grain and removing any excess product with a dry cloth. Allow the surface to dry for approximately one hour, then lightly sand with 800-grit sandpaper.

For added protection and a refined finish, top coat with a clear water-based, solvent-based, or natural clear AquaWax by brush or spray. In warm conditions, a retarder (AH4060) can be added to slow the drying time and improve workability. AquaWax dries within 60 minutes depending on temperature and humidity, providing a smooth, professional-grade finish with minimal effort.
